BEHAVIOUR POLICY

The Little Wendy House promotes and encourages good behaviour, clear firm intervention is implemented to children who bully their peers. Parents are informed immediately. Handling of behaviour is consistent and developmentally appropriate, respecting individual children's level of understanding and maturity.

EQUAL OPPORTUNITY POLICY

The Little Wendy House believes that no child, individual or family should be excluded from the nursery on the grounds of race, age, gender, sexuality, class, family status, means, disability, ethnic origin, culture, religion or belief.

SPECIAL EDUCATIONAL NEEDS POLICY

The Little Wendy House has it's own trained special educational needs co-ordinator. We assess children every 3 months, this would show if any individual child had special educational needs within the six areas of development, once found, extra observations would be carried out and appropriate professionals or assistance would be sought after discussing with parents.
